Proteus uses a prepaid minute-bundle model. There are no recurring subscriptions, no automatic renewals, and no hidden charges.
You purchase a package of access minutes (for example: 10, 45, or 90 minutes). You may use those minutes across one or multiple sessions, at any time, at your own pace.
Important: Purchased minutes are valid for 30 days from the date of purchase. This expiry term is displayed prominently on the purchase page, in your order confirmation email, and in your personal dashboard. Unused minutes are forfeited after the 30-day period.
Standard refund window: You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, provided that fewer than 10 minutes have been consumed. To request a refund, contact support@myproteusup.com with your account email and order details.
After 10 minutes of use or 14 days from purchase (whichever comes first): purchases are non-refundable.
Expired minutes: Minutes that have expired after the 30-day validity period are non-refundable.
Service unavailability: If Proteus was unavailable due to a technical outage during your 30-day validity window, you may be eligible for an extension or pro-rata refund for the period of unavailability. Contact support with documentation.
If you are a resident of the European Union or European Economic Area, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason (EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 9).
Exception โ digital content already accessed: If you begin using Proteus (i.e., start a session and consume minutes) before the 14-day withdrawal period expires, you expressly waive your right of withdrawal for the consumed portion, in accordance with Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU.
At the time of purchase, EU users are required to check a box confirming: "I understand that this is digital content. By completing this purchase, I consent to immediate access and acknowledge that my right of withdrawal is waived for any minutes already consumed."
For the unconsumed portion within 14 days: the standard refund policy in Section 2 applies.

Under Israeli Consumer Protection Law 5741-1981 and related regulations, material terms โ including the 30-day expiry of purchased minutes โ are disclosed prominently before purchase and in the order confirmation.
Cancellation rights: Israeli consumers may cancel a digital service purchase within 14 days of purchase if the service has not been used. If minutes have been used, the refund will be calculated pro-rata for the unused portion (within the 14-day window only).

Proteus does not operate on an automatic renewal or subscription basis. California's Automatic Renewal Law (Business & Professions Code ยง17600โ17606) does not apply to this service.
Proteus minute packages are prepaid access packages for a digital service platform โ not gift cards or gift certificates. Under California Civil Code ยง1749.5, digital service access packages with disclosed expiry terms are not subject to gift card expiry restrictions.
Under the California Consumer Legal Remedies Act (CLRA): if the 30-day expiry term was not clearly disclosed to you before purchase, contact us at support@myproteusup.com and we will review your case.

We respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 5โ10 business days to your original payment method.
Because Proteus has no recurring subscription, there is nothing to "cancel." When your minutes expire or are used up, no further charges occur. If you choose not to purchase a new package, your card will not be billed.
Your account and personal data remain accessible. You may delete your account at any time from Settings.
