By subscribing to Proteus, you agree to a recurring monthly billing cycle. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled before the renewal date.
California residents: In accordance with California's Automatic Renewal Law (Business & Professions Code ยง17600โ17606), you will be clearly informed of the automatic renewal terms before your subscription begins, and you may cancel at any time through your account settings.
You may cancel your subscription at any time directly through your account Settings page or by contacting us at support@myproteusup.com.
Timing: To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, you must cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date.
Access after cancellation: You will continue to have access to the service until the end of your current paid billing period. No further charges will apply after cancellation.
California residents: If you subscribed online, you may cancel online through your account settings without needing to contact support.
Monthly subscriptions: Because our service provides immediate digital access, we generally do not offer refunds for partial months of service or unused periods within a billing cycle.
EU Right of Withdrawal (GDPR / Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU): If you are a resident of the European Union or European Economic Area, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. However, by accessing Proteus's digital content or starting a session, you expressly acknowledge that the service has commenced and you waive your right of withdrawal for that billing period, in accordance with Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU. Any refund request under this clause must be submitted within 14 days of the original purchase date.
California residents: In accordance with California Business & Professions Code ยง17535 and the California Consumer Legal Remedies Act (CLRA), if automatic renewal terms were not clearly disclosed to you before purchase, you are entitled to a full refund upon cancellation. Please contact support@myproteusup.com if you believe this applies to your situation.
Exceptional circumstances: Refunds may be granted at our sole discretion in cases of documented technical errors, service outages exceeding 48 consecutive hours, or billing discrepancies.

We will respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 5โ10 business days and returned to your original payment method via Stripe.
